Strip out the old. Prepare for the next trade.

Stonebridge carries out assessed internal strip-out packages for refurbishment and fit-out projects across London, Kent, Essex and Surrey.

We work from a clear removal schedule so you know what is coming out, what is being retained and how the waste will leave the building.

Internal removal works

Packages can include kitchens, fitted units, floor coverings, wall finishes, ceilings, fixtures and agreed non-structural partitions. Removal of electrical or plumbing fittings is subject to appropriate isolation and the defined scope.

Send annotated drawings or marked-up photos where possible. Identify retained finishes, items for salvage and areas that must remain operational.

Working within the building's constraints

Stair access, lifts, loading bays, permitted working hours and shared entrances can determine the programme. Tell us about occupants, neighbours and protection requirements before we price.

Where the job needs phased working, we can assess a sequence that releases areas for the follow-on trades. Specialist materials, structural alterations and temporary supports require separate assessment.

Quote the work accurately

Include the address, floor area, removal schedule and desired completion date. Tell us whether waste can be loaded directly or needs to be carried through the building, and whether drawings or surveys are available.

Frequently asked questions

Do you remove load-bearing walls? They are not included in a standard soft strip. Structural removal requires a separately assessed and designed scope.

Can furniture be included? Yes, include it in the schedule so labour and disposal are allowed for.

Can you work outside normal hours? Tell us the building's requirements and we will confirm availability and any cost implications.
